Breaker Blocks with Signals draws one block at a time on MT4 and MT5, and it will not
draw it until the market has already broken structure against the candles it marks.

What has to happen before a block appears
Order block tools mark the last down candle before an up move and hope. This one waits
for evidence.
First it tracks swing pivots on a length of 5 and watches for a market structure
shift — price closing through the last swing in the opposite direction. Only when that
break happens does it look back, find the candles that failed to hold the level, and draw
them as the breaker block: +BB in green when structure broke upward, −BB in red when
it broke down.
So the block is never a prediction about candles that just printed. It's a record of a
level the market has already been through and rejected, which is a much smaller set.
You get one block at a time. Show many signal? is off by default, so the chart shows
the newest setup rather than a history of them.
What sits around the block
| What it is | |
|---|---|
Coloured box, +BB / −BB |
the breaker itself |
| Dashed line through it | the block's centre, which is what "broken" is measured against |
HH / LL labels |
the swing the structure shift broke |
| Long horizontal bands | Premium and Discount PD arrays, off by default |
| Grey lines above the block | the two prior swings, each tracked for its own break |
Stop at first break of center line is on by default: once price closes through the
middle of the block, it stops extending. Turn it off and the box keeps running until the
block is fully mitigated.

Twenty-two things it can tell you about
The alert list is the longest of anything here, and each line has its own on/off switch:
- block created, signal, signal cancelled
- the two prior swings breaking, each separately
LL 1/LL 2andHH 1/HH 2breaking- three take-profit levels
- block mitigated or ended
All twenty-two exist for both directions. The take-profit levels are off unless you turn
Enable TP on, and their three R:R pairs default to 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4.
Turn most of them off. Leaving all twenty-two on across several charts produces a stream
of messages you will stop reading by the second day, which defeats the point.
Notifications go to popup, email, push or Telegram, and popup is the default.
Premium and discount
Only when E is in Premium/Discount Array is the filter worth knowing about. With it on,
a block is only accepted when its entry sits in the right half of the recent range —
bullish blocks in discount, bearish in premium. It cuts the count noticeably.
It's off by default because it also removes valid setups in a strong trend, where price
never returns to the discount half at all.
MT4 and MT5
Same detection, same drawing, same alert list. The MT4 chart below is the same market and
setup as the first image.

Repainting, honestly
A block is created from a structure break that has already closed, and once drawn its
edges never move. The right edge extends while the block is live, which is drawing rather
than recalculation.
There is one thing to be straight about: the swing pivots use a length of 5, which
means a pivot is only confirmed five bars after it forms. That's inherent to pivot-based
structure and it's why the block appears where it does rather than earlier. Nothing
already on the chart shifts.
Alerts fire on bar close.
The fast signal mode, and what changed in 1.11
Signal on tick_mode is an optional extra that alerts the moment price enters a live
block rather than waiting for the close.
In 1.11 that mode had a real fault: the up and down branches tested the same condition
with no reference to which way the block pointed, and the second branch never checked the
once-per-candle flag. Price entering a block fired both a "Fast signal UP" and a "Fast
signal DN" on the same tick. Both branches now check the block's direction, so a bearish
block can only produce a DN and a bullish one only an UP.
It's still off by default, and I'd leave it off unless you're watching one chart.
What it doesn't do
- No indicator buffers. Chart objects only, so
iCustomgets nothing. - One block at a time unless you turn
Show many signal?on. - No stop levels. The TP lines are R:R multiples of your own entry-to-stop distance,
and you supply the stop. - Swing length is fixed at 5 through the
Lengthinput; there is no separate setting
for the structure lookback.
Settings I'd start with
Leave Length at 5 and the block options alone. Turn off every alert except block
created and signal, on the one or two timeframes you actually watch.
Try Show Premium/Discount Zone on for a week to see where the blocks are landing in the
range, then turn it back off — it's informative once and clutter afterwards.
Questions you'll have
Does Breaker Blocks with Signals repaint? No. A block is built from a structure break
that has already closed and its edges never move afterwards. The right edge extends while
the block is live, which is drawing, not recalculation.
Why did the block appear five bars after the swing? Because a swing pivot of length 5
can only be confirmed five bars later. That delay is the price of using confirmed
structure instead of guessing.
What's the difference between this and an order block indicator? An order block is
marked on the candle before a move. A breaker is marked only after structure has broken
against that level, so the same candles have already failed once.
MT4? Both platforms are included, one download each. Same detection and the same
alert list.
Why am I getting so many alerts? Twenty-two conditions are on by default. Turn off
everything except the two you act on.
What is the dashed line through the block? Its centre. Stop at first break of center
line uses it to decide when the block stops extending.
Can I see past setups? Turn on Show many signal?. The default shows only the newest.
Both platform builds are included with a subscription. This listing makes no
profitability claim: the indicator marks a level that structure has already broken, and
nothing about a level says what price will do at it. You won't find a win rate table
here, and I'd be careful with any indicator listing that has one.
