Ask what the market
actually does.
You have a hunch about a market. Instead of spending a weekend in a spreadsheet finding out it was wrong, write it down in one paragraph and get back a measured answer — the hit rate, the sample size, and whether it survives being looked at properly.
1 question free with any account. After that it comes with the Basic subscription, with no monthly cap.
How it works
-
Pick the symbol and the timeframe
Spelled the way your broker spells it — EURUSD.m and EURUSD are not always the same instrument, and on some questions that is the whole answer. Timeframes run M1 to MN.
-
Write the condition in plain words
No syntax to learn and no builder to fight. “If the first H1 candle after the London open closes green, how often does the day close green?” is a complete question exactly as written.
-
A person reads it and runs the numbers
Not a form that fires off a canned backtest. If the question has two readings, you get both — or you get asked which one you meant, right in the thread.
-
The report lands in your account
Hit rate, sample size, the breakdown that matters, and charts. Usually a day or two — you get an email when it is up.
It is a conversation, not a form
Every question opens a thread that stays with your account. Both sides can write in it and both sides can send files.
- Send what you already have. The settings file you are running, a spreadsheet of your own trades, the template that draws the levels you mean — attach a PDF or a ZIP and it goes with the question.
- Get asked before the work starts. Half the questions worth asking have a detail nobody thought to mention: which broker's session, whether the close is on the candle or the wick. Being asked costs a message; being guessed at costs the whole report.
- Take the answer in whichever form fits. Short answers are written up on the page with their charts. Longer ones come back as a PDF you can keep, print or pass on.
- Follow up afterwards. An answered question is not closed. Come back with “now split that by weekday” and it goes back into the queue as the same thread, with everything already said still there.
Questions this answers
Real shapes, not a menu. Anything you can describe in a paragraph and measure on price data is fair game.
What you get back
- The number, with its sample size next to it. A 78% hit rate over 41 occurrences is not a finding, and the report says so rather than letting the percentage stand on its own.
- The breakdown that changes the answer. Almost every rule works better on some days, some sessions, or some volatility regimes than others. That split is usually more useful than the headline figure.
- Charts. Distribution, hit rate over time, and whatever else the question needs to be legible at a glance.
- What it does not say. A rule with an edge on entry can still lose money once spread, slippage and exits are real. Where the data cannot answer that, the report says which part is missing rather than filling it in.
- Somewhere to ask the next question. The thread stays open, so the obvious follow-up does not mean starting again from nothing.
What this is not
- Not a signal service. You get a measurement, not a trade to take.
- Not a promise that the answer is a yes. Most hunches do not survive contact with a decent sample, and finding that out in two days beats finding it out in six months of live trading.
- Not a strategy build. If the answer says the idea is worth building, that is a separate job — see Services.
- Not instant. Every report is written by hand, which is the point of it.
Your first question is free
Create an account and ask one — no card, no subscription. If the report is worth having, the Basic plan lets you keep asking; every plan includes it, with no monthly cap. If it is not, you have lost nothing.
