Buyside Sellside Liquidity and Voids marks the price levels where stop orders pile up, on
MT4 and MT5. Its whole job is refusing to call a single swing high a level.

Three touches, not one
The indicator tracks swing pivots with a length of 7 and keeps them in a running list.
Then it asks a question most tools skip: how many other pivots sit at this same price?
A level is only drawn when at least three pivots fall inside the same band, and that
band is sized by ATR rather than by pips โ Margin at 6.9 works out to roughly two thirds
of an ATR either side, so the tolerance widens on a volatile pair and tightens on a quiet
one automatically.
That's the difference between "a high" and "liquidity". Three attempts at the same price
means three sets of stops sitting just beyond it, and that's what the label is claiming.
Green lines and Buyside liquidity sit above price. Red lines and Sellside liquidity
sit below.
What happens when price gets there
The line runs forward until price reaches it. Two things then change:
- A box is drawn over the bars that did the reaching,
ATR ร 2.3tall, in green for a
buyside sweep and orange-red for a sellside one. That box is the sweep itself. - The line turns dashed from that point on, so a solid line is a level that still has
orders behind it and a dashed one is a level that has already been taken.

# Visible Levels is 3 by default: only the three nearest levels on each side stay
drawn, so the chart doesn't turn into a ladder.
Liquidity voids
Liquidity Voids is off by default. Turned on, it also marks the gaps where price moved
through a range without trading in it โ the imbalances left by a fast move โ as coloured
lines rather than boxes.
It's off for a reason: on an intraday chart the voids are numerous and they clutter the
levels, which are the point of the tool. Turn it on when you're studying a single move,
not as a permanent setting.
Three kinds of alert
Each has its own switch:
- created โ a new level has just qualified, meaning a third pivot landed in the band.
- drawn / in zone โ price has entered the zone.
- breached โ price touched and then closed outside it, which is the sweep completing.
The default is a popup; email, push and Telegram are available.
The one worth keeping is breached. "Created" fires often on a ranging chart, and
"in zone" fires before you know whether the level holds.
MT4 and MT5
Same pivots, same clustering, same drawing. Below is MT4 on the same market โ two sellside
levels, one of them swept, and a buyside level still standing above.

Repainting, honestly
Levels are built from pivots, and a pivot of length 7 is only confirmed seven bars after
it forms. So a level appears seven bars late by construction. Nothing that has been drawn
moves afterwards, and the calculation runs once per bar rather than per tick.
The sweep box and the switch to a dashed line are decided on closed bars too.
What it doesn't do
- No indicator buffers you can use. The four internal buffers are calculations, not
plots, soiCustomgives you nothing meaningful. - No entries, stops or targets. It marks where orders are, not what to do about them.
- No multi-timeframe. One chart at a time.
- Pivot length is one number for both sides; you can't run a slower buyside than
sellside.
Settings I'd start with
Leave Detection Length at 7 and Margin at 6.9. The margin is the counter-intuitive one:
it's a divisor, so a larger number means a tighter band and fewer levels.
Keep # Visible Levels at 3. Leave voids off until you have a reason.
Turn off the created and in-zone alerts and keep breached.
Questions you'll have
Does Buyside Sellside Liquidity and Voids repaint? No. Levels come from confirmed
pivots and never move once drawn. A pivot needs seven bars to confirm, so the level
appears seven bars after the high that completed it.
Why is there no level on an obvious double top? Two touches isn't enough. It wants
three inside the ATR band.
What does the box mean? Price reached the level. The box covers the bars that did it
and is sized at 2.3 ATR so it stays visible on any symbol.
Why did a line turn dashed? It's been breached โ price touched it and closed back
outside. The level is spent.
MT4? Both platforms are included, one download each.
What does Margin actually do? It divides into 10 to set the band width, so raising it
narrows the band. 6.9 gives about two thirds of an ATR each way.
Should I turn on Liquidity Voids? Not as a default. They're informative on a single
fast move and clutter on everything else.
Both platform builds are included with a subscription. This listing makes no
profitability claim: the indicator marks where resting orders are likely to sit, and
nothing about a pool of orders says which way price leaves it. You won't find a win rate
table here, and I'd be careful with any indicator listing that has one.
